UBC’s Change Communities Build Staff Resilience

In addition to supporting staff prepare for Planon, the EMMS Change Management (CM) team is working alongside practitioners within the VPFO portfolio and across UBC to align joint Planon and Workday communications and engagement activities. Leading up to Go Live, EMMS will coordinate training and support for Phase 1 stakeholders adapt to these new tools and administrative processes.

EMMS CM is working with:

  1. UBC Change & Transition Community – Supporting individuals, teams and organizations prepare for and respond well to change, through the co-creation of an inclusive, diverse, environment that fosters staff well-being, resiliency and capacity during change
  2. VFPO Change Community – Representatives from the VPFO portfolio focused on creating a change culture beginning with Planon, Workday and other operational initiatives
  3. Integrated Renewal Program Organizational Change Management (OCM) Team – A dedicated team within IRP responsible for Workday related change management activities
  4. Integrated Renewal Program Transition Network – A team of volunteers who represent students, faculties and VP units responsible for localizing the change introduced by Workday

As we get ready for both the Planon and Workday in 2020, details on how current processes will be changing and when to expect training with Workday and Planon will be shared with impacted teams when available.
